What fortune to stumble upon your substack via K.C. Knouse! Refreshingly reminiscent of Howl or some of the NY beat poets. Thanks!

Your writing keeps the light on in my head, Victor. Slipping on greed backwards and Grandma's cotton candy hair, what great metaphors. The last paragraphs really grabbed my attention. I'm still thinking about it.

Thank you KC. Sometimes I just go riffing with no idea where it's going.. :) Like wandering in the woods or something I guess. Keep the light lit and thanks again!

Hola Víctor, me parece muy enriquecedora esta historia, para mí fue una metáfora de la aceptación de las situaciones de la vida. Gracias!

Oh man, Victor David. This is ridiculously good. I laughed the second time I read it. Is that wrong? Maybe I'll cry or perhaps chuckle again when I read it for the third and fourth time after dinner. I will report back to you but thank you for the "oddified" mind trip.

Laugh or cry, I have no idea, Jim. I think either or both is just a-okay. Riffing, you know, a little jazz drums maybe.... Thanks for the lovely comment!
